Wabash Valley Classic Smashes Attendance Record!!!!
Wabash Valley Tumbling & Gymnastics started hosting USA Gymnastics competitions in 2003. Our very first gymnastics competition had a little over 200 athletes. Last year we expected 325 athletes. This year over 600 athletes from Indiana and Illinois have chosen to compete in the Wabash Valley Classic Gymnastics Invitational. Teams from as far away from Fort Wayne Indiana and Marion Illinois will be in Terre Haute on January 18th and 19th for the 2-day competition. WVTG is excited to say that this is again the largest gymnastics event held in the area. It seems like every year more and more people come to this city to compete in our sport. This is in no small part to support from the WVTG families who donate their time and effort in the setup of the event and the support from local venues and institutions such as Strive 365 and the Terre Haute Visitors and Conventions Bureau. WVTG would like to extend a great big thank you to all of those supporting the sport of gymnastics, tumbling, and cheer in the Wabash Valley.
